Hi everyone! I’ve been having problems with my new Ryzen system and my SSD; previously freezing and now there’s a new problem. It only comes back after a loop of automatic restarts. And the system is running off of an SSD, which should make booting faster, but it takes about 2 minutes for this whole thing to happen.

To make the OS boot properly, there are two situations that need to happen: 1. I turn it on normally, it posts but the screen goes black. It goes on a loop of restarting until it eventually boots into Windows When I reset the system myself as this BS is happening, it boots normally as it should.

Operation within the system itself is normal, no hitches or anything. Freezing is gone, but this issue when first turning it on is ruining my day, to be honest. Things I’ve tried:. MSI B Tomahawk. Ryzen 5 Corsair CX I’m running out of ideas, people. This Ryzen system is giving me so many problems I’m starting to regret ever buying it.

Any help would be appreciated. Please download and install Speccy to provide us with information about your computer. Click on File which is outlined in red in the screen above, and then click on Publish Snapshot. In your next post right click inside the Reply to Topic box, then click on Paste. This will load a link to the Speccy log. Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life. You never know when one will leave you. First of all, thank you so much for the attention!

About 4 seconds later, the screen comes back on and I’m in Windows Posted 16 September – AM. Hi, dc3! Sorry to bother you, but might there be any solution I can try for my problem? I see a lot of numbers and data in that Speccy link but can’t understand any of it hahaha.

Again, my apologies for the reminder, it’s just that the problem persists and I can’t find any help on the forums. No need for you to apologize, I on the other hand owe you an apology. This topic somehow got away from me. One of the known issues with the Speccy Snapshot are outrageously high temperatures which are not consistent with the other component temperatures. I believe the CPU temperature of 99C to be an anomaly, but we need to confirm this before moving forward.

I downloaded and ran the software. I don’t know if this is how I’m supposed to save results, but I’ve taken screenshots of the info. I’ve also saved a log which I’m sharing through this Google Drive shareable link. Press the Windows and R keys together, this will open the Run box. Type msconfig , then click OK. This will open System Configuration. The next time you start the computer it will boot into Safe Mode. Your computer will continue to boot into Safe Mode until you reenter System configuration and remove the check from Safe boot.

The issue persists. Restarting makes the OS boot normally again. Posted 16 September – PM. Did you get msconfig to open the System Configuration? It should have looked like the image below. Oh, I think I should add a few other things that I find strange about my PC’s current behaviour, some of them persisted throughout all my Windows 10 fresh installations with the Ryzen platform:.

Some system updates have also been stuck since this morning. And I have a stable ethernet connection to my PC. I have a hunch that this is a problem in the way the OS is interacting with the drivers, dc3. As far as I know, one of the processes that take place during boot is the loading of drivers.

And since there are also these weird situations with the Realtek audio software and the Nvidia Control Panel not installing together with the GPU driver, this tells me that there’s something wrong in that regard. But what could be causing it is what boggles me. Edit: As it stands, the system starts normally from a cold boot about 3 times out of Posted 17 September – AM. What does not make sense is the fact that you can open System Configuration, open the Boot tab, select Safe boot, click on Apply and then OK, but you can’t boot into Safe Mode.

Did you shut down and then restart the computer after setting it up to boot into Safe Mode? What version and build of Windows 10 do you have installed. To find this information open the Start menu and type winver in the search box, winver will appear to the left under Programs.

Press the Windows and the R keys together to open the Run box. Type in cmd , then press the Shift , Ctrl , and Enter keys together to open the command prompt as an administrator. This will take a while, have patience and allow it finish. Stopping this scan could damage files. In the Command Prompt you can see a progress bar which rung from the left to right showing the percentage of the scan.

If no errors are found you will see the message Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations at the end of the scan, this means that no file corruption was found.

If the scan finds any integrity violation please post the log of this scan. Locate your scan and copy it. Just fill out the requested information and follow the prompts, then post the link it creates in your topic.

I’m not proud to say that I got an. Same with previous versions that I’ve tried for the past week or so. None of them were stable in the SSD. Edit : I didn’t make it clear, but I did get into Safe Mode, but the booting process was as bugged as before. My bad for not making that clear. Download Windows If you used a torrent to install the operating system I’m guessing that you did not or don’t have a official product code for this installation.

In order to use the ISO you will need to purchase a legal product code, you can find this online. Do not use an illegal product code. I would suggest using a product like Darik’s Boot and Nuke to completely overwrite the entire ssd, then use the ISO available at the Microsoft download site to install Windows You will need to have a legal 25 digit product code, I can find these online.

You should be aware that downloading torrents is one of the fastest ways I know of to becoming infected. I understand. Like I said, I’m not proud to have an illegal copy of it.

I’ll get an original key online soon. Do you have any suggestions for international websites where I can buy it from my country like Amazon, for instance? I’m sharing the log file with you through MediaFire, as you requested. Community Forum Software by IP. Sign In Create Account. Javascript Disabled Detected You currently have javascript disabled.
