I have tried that also, but when I find the audio drivers for the E and click the link, it leads me to a page that tells me the audio drivers are “Inbox” drivers – i. And that is the problem, isn’t it? Because they’re obviously not working. For the E, I found an audio driver download, but when I right-clicked on the file, there was no Compatibility tab. As the issue still persists, I suggest you to try updating the driver through device manager and check if it helps.
As the issue still persist, I suggest you to try creating a new user account and check if the Dolby Audio drivers works. Suggest you to check by install the legacy drivers. I mean, try to install Windows 7 or Windows 8. First try to uninstall the existing drivers through Control Panel, reboot your computer and then try to install the legacy drivers.
