The game has you going around the island and talking to many different NPCs they will give you missions to do such as a kid asking you to go and find his toy that was lost in the storm.
Most of what you do will be fetch quests, but you are free to do these any way you want. The controls of the game are decent enough. As the name of the game suggests, horses play a big role in the game. This ranges from using your horse to get around the island to taking part in timed races.
The races are interesting and this is where you can see that the game was clearly made with children in mind.
