I just re-installed Outlook and this error message appears. Mine is a complicated situation. In brief:. Back when I had Vista bit , I downloaded the Office trial. I used the trial until it expired, and attempted to uninstall it. It would not completely uninstall, so I attempted a VERY complicated removal procedure outlined in these forums. I saved my pst file just in case. I followed the directions in this forum to create a new profile and now the program will not open at all. Was this reply helpful?

Change appropriate permissions to the users. You might want to try adding your account or “Everyone” into the set with Full Control. Please note that adding everyone will solve but not a recommended option. How satisfied are you with this reply?

A workaround be to delete any rules you see in OWA that are greyed out or in error or have a clutter warning or cannot be viewed. Then close and open Outlook again and try edit the rules again. It should work temporarily, but the client will sync the broken rules back eventually. You are correct, they did update the page with new info. I downloaded the new updates but still received the same error on both the 32bit and 64bit patches.
