It says “We can’t activate Windows on this device because you don’t have a valid digital license or key. I’d have to buy a Windows license to really “activate it”? Is there a way I could use a key or something from that to activate Windows on Parallels? I heard somewhere else that I couldn’t because the PC was running Windows 7 when I first got it, but it’s worth a shot. This thread is locked.

I have reinstalled my virtual machines, restarted the computer, and reinstalled parallels desktop. I have also reset my network settings. I am unable to do anything with parallels and the internet eg. Also, when I make any Windows Virtual machine full screen, the screen resolution will not automatically change, like it did in Mavericks. It will usually change to x or not change at all. I have to go to the screen resolution settings in Windows and manually change it to x or whatever resolution is applicable for the monitor i’m using.

I have tried reinstalling parallels tools for this, too. I didn’t have any of these problems in Mavericks. Does anybody else have these problems with Parallels 10? Posted on Dec 28, PM. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. I’m using OS X I am using Parallels desktop The problem I’m having is this:. I can start any VM in parallels and it will work normally. The internet in the VM will work normally.

After about 3 minutes, the whole computer will suddenly lose it’s internet connection. The VM in Parallels and the host machine both say they’re connected, but there is no interned access.

I can turn off wifi and turn it back on, I can connect to an Ethernet cord, and I can try any web browser Safari or Chrome but the internet won’t work until I completely quit Parallels desktop.

As soon as I quit parallels, the internet on the computer will instantly start working. I have reinstalled my virtual machines, restarted the computer, and reinstalled parallels desktop.
