Wednesday, November 30th, AM. I finally purchased a new computer and I’d like to install Directv2pc on the new laptop to watch my recorded shows from my DVR’s. Unfortunately, I cannot locate the download forms on this website.
I downloaded it over 6 years ago to my old PC, so I’m wondering if it’s still even used. When one DVR goes out, I still have the other. And I’m using HP laptops I pretty sure I have the install exe on a backup somewhere I’ll start hunting.
The Genie would only be an issue as a single point if you replace both DVRs i. Well I found the files and it appears my new laptop won’t run it since it’s Windows 10 and the software only supports up to Windows 7. Not to mention I cannot locate my serial number Regarding the Genie, it’s way more expensive then what I have going on now, so switching is not an option.
But thanks for the thoughts. Directv2pc is a feature that really never made it out of Beta. If you are talking about something else, then start a fresh thread especially since this one is 3 years old and there have been some big software and hardware updates since then that change a lot of answers.
